DELETION OF INACTIVE eGUMIS SYSTEM USER ACCOUNTS

Please be informed that eGUMIS System user accounts that have been registered for more than 24 months and have no active or pending Unclaimed Money (WTD) applications will be automatically deleted by the system. Users are requested to register a new account on the eGUMIS System, if there are new applications. For any further information, please email to tuntutan.bwtd@anm.gov.my.

APPLICATION OF REFUND FOR UNCLAIMED MONEYS BY AGENT OR THIRD PARTY

Please be informed that the Ministry of Finance or Registrar of Unclaimed Moneys has never appointed any individual or third party as an agent to manage claims for Unclaimed Moneys (WTD) on behalf of the public. The public is advised not to engage any third-party services or individuals offering agent services for matters related to WTD because:

• WTD claims are free of charge and can be made directly by the owner through the official portal: https://egumis.anm.gov.my

• Accountant General's Department of Malaysia (AG) does not impose any fees for checking or claiming WTD. Any personal information provided to unauthorized parties may be misused for fraudulent purposes.

If there are any doubts or inquiries, the public may email at tuntutan.bwtd@anm.gov.my

BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT EMAILS RELATED TO UNCLAIMED MONEYS (UM)

The Accountant General's Department of Malaysia (JANM) wishes to alert the public to the circulation of fraudulent emails using the name of the Accountant General's Department of Malaysia (JANM) and the Unclaimed Moneys Management Division (BWTD) in relation to Unclaimed Moneys (UM).

Please be informed that the BWTD, JANM has never issued any email notifications to the public or to any firms/companies/submitting entities regarding Unclaimed Moneys claims.

Accordingly, the public is advised to:

·       Refrain from clicking any links contained in suspicious emails;

·       Not disclose any personal information, banking details or login credentials;

·       Verify the authenticity of the email source before taking any action.
