BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT EMAILS RELATED TO UNCLAIMED MONEYS (UM)

The Accountant General's Department of Malaysia (JANM) wishes to alert the public to the circulation of fraudulent emails using the name of the Accountant General's Department of Malaysia (JANM) and the Unclaimed Moneys Management Division (BWTD) in relation to Unclaimed Moneys (UM).

Please be informed that the BWTD, JANM has never issued any email notifications to the public or to any firms/companies/submitting entities regarding Unclaimed Moneys claims.

Accordingly, the public is advised to:

·       Refrain from clicking any links contained in suspicious emails;

·       Not disclose any personal information, banking details or login credentials;

·       Verify the authenticity of the email source before taking any action.

All authentic and up-to-date information on Unclaimed Moneys can be obtained through the official eGUMIS portal of the Accountant General's Department of Malaysia at

For existing users who have been deactivated, please send your ID, email and personal identification number to the email tuntutan.bwtd@anm.gov.my for further review and assistance.
